Emily is the owner of a private practice in Michigan that provides outpatient mental health services to clients online as well as in person. Emily enjoys her administrative duties as well as providing services as a mental health therapist. Emily has previously been in roles such as Clinical and Administrative Supervisor for outpatient and partial hospitalization programs as well as care management and working with integrated medical/mental health care programs. Emily also enjoys providing supervision services to several other new social workers in Michigan. Emily utilizes a multi system approach with primary use of CBT and solution focused perspectives. She believes that everyone has the power to achieve their goals and that therapy is a great tool to help people reach those goals.
Emily is an advocate for improving the mental health accessibility in Michigan to include all income levels and backgrounds. She believes that everyone can benefit from mental health treatment at different points in their lives and that these services should be easily accessible for all. Emily believes that it takes strength and bravery to reach out for help and that we should be building up people that are willing to take that journey.
Emily received her bachelors degree in psychology from Wayne State University in 2010 and her Masters degree in social work from Wayne State University in 2012.
