Jessica Ackerman, MS, CCC-SLP, is a certified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in clinical speech-language pathology, with specialty focus on neurological disorders, including Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Brain Injury, MS; Cancer; Respiratory Illnesses, Complex Medical Illness. She has expertise in evaluation/diagnosis and therapeutic intervention for Cognitive Impairments, Memory, Aphasia, Voice Disorders, and Swallowing Disorders. Jessica is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RTY-200) and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), bringing a whole-person, functional approach to disease and dis-ease of the brain, body, and mind. Jessica is always looking to apply transformative therapy approaches to patients to maximize function and optimize quality of life. Jessica is passionate about mind-brain-breath-body interconnection and how regulating the nervous system can promote healing and optimize health.
