My experience has always leaned towards finding new ways to help people be their most safe independent self with their highest quality of life.

Hi my name is Susan and my first career path was raising my 3 children on our farm in New England. When they headed off to college, so did I. I pursued my next career as an Occupational Therapist, with now 23 years of experience. My experience has always leaned towards finding new ways to help people be their most safe independent self with their highest quality of life. I pursued this through specialization in assistive technology, environmental controls, home modifications, ergonomics, low vision therapy and wheel chair customization. Complementing this was working with health insurance companies in health outcomes to assure patients were discharged to the most appropriate location and services needed. Most recently I have looked once again to new innovative occupational therapy treatment, including telephonic health coaching and virtual reality treatment to allow people to be treated where they are most comfortable with improved health outcomes and quality of life.
